Description
- Assist in maintaining financial records and reports.
- Prepare and update financial spreadsheets.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing and managing emails.
- Handle the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions.
- Support the team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial procedures and processes.
- Support the team in budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel.
- A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with financial regulations.
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
Job Offer
- An attractive salary range of £28,000 - £29,500 per annum.
- 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 after 2 years service)
