An Investment Management company based in Central London are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dynamic group within the finance team of a privately-owned company with worldwide interests across a diverse portfolio of businesses including real estate, hotels and fashion.

You will be working closely with the wider team to ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and professional supplier correspondence. Managing the supplier and payment inbox. Supporting the wider business with monthly financial reporting and more.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Allocation of supplier and payment inbox emails to team members.
  • Processing supplier invoices on a timely basis, ensuing accurate input to MRI Qube (includes coding to property & nominal codes).
  • Supplier reconciliations and supplier account analysis.
  • Working with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Supporting Management Accountants with analysing ledgers to support variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Supporting with month end reporting
  • Aged creditor report review and suggest actions to address old balances.

This role offers the chance to progress within the team and to develop your finance skills.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years within a similar role, you will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT, experience using MRI Qube is highly desirable.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £40k DOE, study support, a discretionary bonus, a flexible hybrid working scheme and more.
