I'm collaborating with an outstanding Media company to recruit an Accounts Assistant - an ideal opportunity for recent graduates, with a 2.1 in Accounting and Finance, seeking their first role in Finance

You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team, gaining invaluable experience over the course of 12 months!

  • Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home
  • Salary: £25,000 (day rate equivalent)
  • Location: South West London

What can you expect?

  • Generate sales invoices for additional artist services, ensuring proper VAT treatment.
  • Issue intercompany sales invoices and liaise with partners to ensure synchronised accounts.
  • Support weekly manual bank refunds to customers.
  • Manage shared email filing efficiently.
  • Assist with ad hoc queries as needed.
  • Identify rebillable costs in collaboration with Operations.
  • Create sales invoices with appropriate VAT.
  • Communicate with artist management to resolve queries and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure prompt invoicing.

Ideal candidate

  • Experience is NOT essential
  • Minimum 2:1 university degree in Accounting/Finance degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Someone who demonstrates time management skills and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong excel skills
