Core responsibilities include:> Bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations> Aged credit and debtor reporting at month's end> Processing invoices and ensuring they are matched against purchase orders, following up where there are discrepancies.> Preparing supplier payment runs.> VAT returnsWhat you'll need to succeed> Previous experience of working in a similar Accounts Assistant position, preferable from a small / medium-sized enterprise.> Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.> Able to prioritise work and flexible to adapt to changing priorities.> Flexibility and quick to learn new tasks.> High attention to detail.
