Accounts Payable - London

Seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the Finance Team on a 18 month fixed term basis. Key responsibilities will be to process invoices and reconcile supplier statements in an accurate and timely manner. As the Accounts Payable, you will be helping the company keep on top of all outgoing cash; ensuring our suppliers are paid on time and accurately which is essential to running a successful business. The successful candidate must be a team player, ideally with strong AP/Media background.

Candidates Background:

  • You have previous work experience in Accounts Payable.
  • You have experience working in media/advertising, with knowledge of how the industry works or experience in a high-volume transactional business with regular AP reconciliation (essential).
  • NetSuite experience is preferable.
  • You have strong Excel skills.
  • You are a team player and willing to help others.
  • You are calm under pressure and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are happy to share ideas for new initiatives and ways of working and equally happy to hear other people's ideas.

Requirements:

  • Recent, demonstrable experience of working within a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant
  • GCSE's in Maths & English and ideally studying towards AAT or equivalent
  • Strong data entry skills and able to work at a fast pace with high accuracy
  • Self-starter, organised and able to work independently
  • Has excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
