Our client, a forward-thinking organisation in the hospitality industry, is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance department. This role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a vibrant team!
As an integral part of their accounts payable team, you will:
- Ensuring invoices are accurate and processing
- Assist in preparing payments
- Serve as a key point of contact with suppliers and assisting with any issues
- Prepare Supplier Statement reconciliations
- Resolve queries through effective written and verbal communication
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Work to enhance workflows and streamline processes.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role
- Experience meeting deadlines
- Experience with reconciliations
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data entry.
