Assistant Accountant - 3 months temp

Edward Mann are partnered with a Tech business in the recruitment of an interim Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in transactional finance and some month end exposure who are looking to work in a vibrant Central London location. This is a 3 month contract paying £18 - £21 per hour plus holiday pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Process journals accurately and efficiently
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure financial accuracy
• Help with various ad hoc accounting tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
• Expeirence in the proicessing of journals
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel (Netsuite considered advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Immediate or short term availability is required
