The Company is seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, including property accounting and administrative support for various committees. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial accounts, supporting payroll reconciliation, and overseeing credit card transactions. You will also contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports, maintain the accuracy of the general ledger, and assist in coordinating audits. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a small team who deliver quality financial information in a major philanthropic organisation

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a part qualified/newly qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in an accountancy role in either a commercial or charitable setting. You will excel in management and reporting, possess excellent IT and communication skills, and have a strong background in producing management and financial accounts, as well as budgetary cost control and reporting. Strong interpersonal skills, focus, and adaptability are essential, along with a willingness to learn and improve processes. Experience in payroll reconciliation, MRI/Qube, and MS Teams is desirable.
