• This is an excellent role at a high end flooring contractor based in central London
• 4 days in the office, 1 day WFH
• Supporting the Managing Director

Assistant Accountant

• Preparation and invoicing to client
• Manage contracts with Subcontractors
• Preparation of monthly financial statements: Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations
• Budget to Actual variance analysis
• Reconciliation and Recharge inter company expenses.
• Bank Reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Internal & External Audit Quarterly and Annually
• Stock and WIP management: Reconciliation and monthly P&L
• Preparation of Month End & Year-End
• Payroll
• Negotiating Business insurance renewals
• Cashflow management
• Systems with Sage, Quickbooks and Excel
