Our client is the HQ of a European construction firm that specialises in building data centres for some of the biggest tech firms globally. A newly created position has arisen to coordinate the assist the Company accountant in more transactional tasks such as:
The role will involve:
- Processing day-to-day financial transactions, including debit / credit cards.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of trial balances.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data.
- Assist in month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial audits and other accounting projects.
The ideal candidate will be:
Working towards relevant qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA OR equivalent)
A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping
Knowledge of debits, credits, and the trial balance process.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
