A proptech company is seeking an Assistant Accountant with a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 plus study support.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a finance role, either in industry or practice.
The role involves ensuring accurate transaction recording in line with IFRS and UK GAAP, as well as collaborating with external accountants during year-end.
Additionally, the Assistant Accountant will be involved in preparing annual financial statements and overseeing the ERP system, specifically Xero.
The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office and is based in the City of London.

What can you expect?

Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in line with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Collaborate with external accountants as needed during year end.
Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements.
Get involved in monthly and quarterly management accounts and board reporting.
Oversee the ERP system (Xero).
Help implement and strengthen processes across the organisation.
Ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.

What is expected from you?

Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA - from Part-qualified to Finalist.
3 years experience within a finance role (Industry or Practice).
Strong knowledge with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Detail-oriented, approachable, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Passionate about preparing, analysing, and presenting financial statements clearly.
Experience using finance ERP systems like Xero.
