Key Responsibilities,
Accounts Payable
- Invoice entry and following up with approvals
- Processing and posting of payment runs and required internal transfers
- Supplier account reconciliations
- Monitoring the Accounts Payable email address and responding to supplier queries
Accounts Receivable
- Issuing monthly and quarterly rent, service charge, electricity, insurance, and other ad-hoc invoices
- Chasing outstanding debt with tenants
- Tenant account reconciliations
- Monitoring the Accounts Receivable email address and responding to tenant queries
Treasury/Ad-Hoc
- Posting and allocation of tenant receipts
- Processing of internal transfers resulting from the above postings and allocations
- Bank reconciliations
- Management of utilities recharge and reconciliation process
- Management of lease and tenant data Liaising with Property, Building, and Asset Managers and other building staff to ensure the smooth running of processes
Required Experience,
- Experience of working in the real estate sector
- Ideally a competent knowledge of service charge accounting
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of commonly used Property Accounting software
