Your new companyYou will work for a successful and growing Media publishing, print, digital, film and art company, based in central London.Your new roleThis is a newly created role which has come about due to business growth. You will join an existing finance team of four people. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Supporting the month-end process including prepayment and accrual journals, balance sheet reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Raising sales invoices
- Production of aged debt reports
- Reconciliation of receipts
- Various reporting including sales ad management reports
- Processing and coding supplier invoices, gaining the necessary approval for payment
- Account reconciliation (supplier, customer, intercompany)
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar Senior Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant role
- Stable employment history
- Be actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification, or be keen to do so
- Have experience working within a SME business background where processes are sometimes undefined and fluid
- Personable, with excellent communication skills
