Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This hybrid role, based at their central office in the City of London, offers the opportunity to grow your career while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role will be a 15-month Mat cover. It pays up to 40K, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Preparations for VAT & CIS returns for multiple entities.
  • Assist with the accounts payable & accounts receivable process.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts, process invoices, and manage payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Provide ad hoc support for audits and financial projects.

Ideal Candidate Skills:

Essential:

  • Prior experience of working within a finance function.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
  • Studying towards a professional qualification.
  • Strong IT skills, including excellent Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Can come in and hit the ground running.

Desired:

  • Experience in a hybrid working environment.
  • Experience in the Real Estate Industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work across departments.
