An opportunity has arisen at this city based insurance company for an Accounts Assistant to join for an initial six months Fixed Term Contract. This is a broad accounting role with responsibilities including:
- Process of all employee expenses
- Managing insurance payments including claims, fee and premium returns
- Posting journals including insurance transactions and investments
- Review monthly aged debtors
- Reconciliations including bank accounts and statements
- Cash management and production of monthly reports
- Bank transfers
- Expense analysis of spend against budget
This role would suit someone with proven experience in double entry bookkeeping gained within Insurance or Financial Services.
