Assistant Client Accountant - Residential Property. OUR CLIENT are a growing residential property / development management company who operate across the country. Due to continuous growth and new instructions, they are looking for a bright and hard-working Assistant Client Accountant to assist Client Accountants in their busy London Office.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES for an Assistant Client Accountant will include:

  • Supporting the Client / Service Charge Accountants to help produce the annual accounts.
  • Processing completion statements and lease assignments.
  • Raising and sending service charge demands.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and solving any problems.
  • Reconciling service charge monies/payments received from Tenants.
  • Handling tenants’ queries regarding service charges.
  • Collecting service charge monies and transferring the funds to the reserve accounts.
  • Raising ad hoc charges.

THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS for an Assistant Client Accountant:

  • 1-2 years working experience, preferably in Property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems such as QUBE, Tramps, Yardi or similar along with MS Office skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; team player.
  • Accuracy and speed of posting invoices.
  • Timely raising and sending invoices.
  • Attention to details.
