Assistant Project Accountant | Central London | Professional Services Consultancy | £30-40,000 + bens (including hybrid working and study support)

I am recruiting an Assistant Project Accountant for this dynamic Global Professional Services Consultancy in Central London paying £30-40,000 + benefits. Key tasks include:

  • Taking ownership of project setup's, billing, project costs, purchase orders and requisitions, and ensuring timesheet completion.
  • Maintaining, reviewing and updating a portfolio of projects, highlighting issues
  • Work with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers ensuring that risks and opportunities on projects are captured and reported to leadership.
  • Participate in monthly internal business reviews with Project Managers, taking note of required actions and following up to ensure completion as required.
  • Responsible for standard weekly reporting, e.g. timecard compliance, cost sheets and expense reporting, unassigned time and other labour types as required.
  • Serve as a centralised point of contact to internal and external business.
  • Work on client invoicing and client budgeting with support from colleagues where required.
  • Raising of project related purchase requisitions and tracking purchase orders.
  • Ensure all timesheets are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with at least two years accounting experience including some exposure to project accounting and WIP. You will be in the early stages of your ACCA or CIMA studies and have strong systems and communication skills.
