An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Analyst to become part of a fast-growing and dynamic organisation. This full-time role offers a vibrant work environment, opportunities for career growth, and a competitive salary of up to £35k, along with additional perks. Due to the nature of the role, discretion is vital as you will be dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

We are seeking a junior finance assistant who is sharp, collaborative, and eager to get stuck in, with prior accounting experience (for example, through a placement year during university).

Key Responsibilities:• Support and co-manage the accounting operations across the UK, USA, and Canada.• Oversee accounts receivable and work closely with the bookkeeper to manage accounts payable.• Perform monthly and quarterly soft closings, bank reconciliations, and year-end account closings.• Handle payment reconciliations and journal entries throughout the year.• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and assist with inter-company transaction reconciliations.• Coordinate with external accountants for filing statutory reports, including VAT, 1099, and statutory accounts.• Take the lead on managing company expense software, including approvals, processing, and staff training.• Provide assistance to the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For:• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical, analytical, and accuracy skills.• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused, with a natural ability to build relationships.• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.• Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively across diverse teams.• Motivated, with a clear desire to grow both professionally and personally.

Qualifications & Experience:• A minimum of a BSc/BA or equivalent qualification.• A keen interest in or currently pursuing CIMA or ACCA qualifications.• A solid understanding of basic/intermediate accounting principles.• Relevant experience, ideally within the service industry.• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.• Experience with Xero and SAP Concur would be an advantage.
