We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to take charge of key financial processes.

This is a pivotal supporting role with regular interaction across internal teams and external partners.

Job Description:

Maintaining Financial Records:

Guarantee that all the financial records are correct and maintained up to date as often as possible:

  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Support with processing valuations
  • Issue of Purchase Orders
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Cards Reconciliations
  • Management of Expenses.
  • Assist with Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Assist with Monthly Salary Journals
  • Assist with Monthly Prepayments/Accruals/Depreciation
  • Credit Control

Supporting Managing and Coordinating Monthly Reporting and Budgeting:

  • Assist with Profit and Loss Variance analysis
  • Assist with KPI analysis
  • Assist with Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Maintaining Internal controls and improve processes

About you

  • Degree / Qualification in accounting or finance (Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified)
  • Knowledge of Xero
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Be diligent and accurate in your work.
  • Be adaptable and able to develop your skills in line with the company’s development.
  • Proven Experience
  • Ability to use own initiative
