Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic finance team? We are seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join our clients company and contribute to a wide range of financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing incoming payments, posting receipts, and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Accurately inputting financial data into our systems, maintaining up-to-date and reliable records.
  • Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks and contributing to month-end and year-end processes.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage 50 or similar).
  • Prior experience in payroll, accounts receivable, or credit control is advantageous but not essential.
