Global Accounting Network are partnered with a dynamic, global sports organization dedicated to expanding their brand. Due to continued growth and exciting international initiatives, we’re seeking an Accounts Assistant to support their Finance team with essential day-to-day responsibilities for a 6 month period.

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate reporting. This role works closely with the Senior Finance Manager based in London and collaborates with the New York Controllers Office and international finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and employee expenses
  • Manage the processing of international invoices
  • Reconcile key supplier accounts for accuracy
  • Prepare and manage regular payment runs
  • Uphold financial policies and procedures, especially in key risk areas
  • Provide support for system and processing queries across the business

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial policies, processes, and controls
  • Experience with end-to-end ERP systems
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem-solver with multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Intermediate Excel skills
