The IBA Technician will work within a small and collaborative team who work closely with colleagues across the business, markets and clients to provide an accurate and timely accounting service.
Overview
- Management of underwriter payables process and payments in relation to Company and Placing Intermediary markets including reconciliation of balances and payments to underwriters.
- Management of claims payable process and payments to claimants
- Maintenance of the Insurance Broking Ledgers, to include reconciliations and settlements to insurers, agents and producers
- Responsibility for regular Insurer and Market payments and on occasion company payments
- Any other reasonable task or project as may be required from time to time
Key skills
- Knowledge of Insurance Broking accounting
- Claims and premium reconciliation
- Experience of multi-currency accounting
- Lloyds / London market experience preferred
- Use of ACTURIS would be a bonus

What is on offer
- This is an urgent hire and our client would like applications from candidates who can start asap. (a 1 month notice period is the maximum)
- The role can be permanent or a temporary assignment, depending on your requirements.
- Salary to £45,000 p.a.
- Hybrid Working Options (3 days per week in the City office)
