My client, a fast-growing and leading Lloyd’s of London broker, are looking for a Junior IBA Technician on a full time basis.
This role is responsible for managing the daily transactions within the IBA department, ensuring operational expertise in various tasks, such as processing incoming receipts, performing standard account reconciliations, and initiating outgoing payments.
You will play a vital role in maintaining a consistent operational rhythm throughout the month, supporting the broader IBA team in optimising client and insurer interactions.
Key Duties
- Supporting work across, predominantly, Credit Control in addition to Cash Application, Insurer Reconciliation/Bordereaux and Bank Reconciliation
- Daily processing of core IBA tasks such as receipt allocation, insurer statement reconciliation and raising of payments
- Support IBA projects
- Support audit requests
- Predominantly deal with internal Business stakeholders; occasionally dealing with external parties
About you
- Experience within financial services is preferred
- Understanding of basic concepts of IBA and accounting
- Awareness of industry regulations is a plus
