PART-TIME FINANCE ASSISTANT
We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part Time Finance Assistant to join our client's team in the property industry. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's organisation. If you have a passion for finance, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any payment issues
- Negotiate payment plans to ensure debts are settled
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment agreements
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to address any billing discrepancies or customer concerns
- Prepare and present reports of outstanding debts and collections efforts
- Use Xero platform to generate month-end invoices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in finance, preferably as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using Xero or a similar accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
