About the Role
As part of a specialist team, you will:
- Provide expert guidance on GMP equalisation and other benefit rectification projects for both ongoing pension schemes and those preparing for buy-in, buy-out, or wind-up.
- Conduct benefit rectification exercises, collaborating with internal teams and providing technical support where needed.
- Play an integral role in delivering high-quality client solutions, ensuring best practices and compliance with pension regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to client projects related to GMP equalisation, conversion, and other rectification initiatives.
- Supervise, review, and sign off work from junior team members, offering mentoring and constructive feedback to enhance their skills and development.
- Act as the primary client contact for designated projects, attending meetings and providing expert advice.
- Support the management of team workflow, ensuring timely delivery of client solutions while maintaining strong communication and motivation within the team.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified Actuary (study support available if required) or equivalent experience.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an actuarial role, ideally with GMP knowledge.
- Strong understanding of pension scheme benefits legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with PFaroe actuarial consulting software.
- Previous experience in a pensions consultancy actuarial role.
