Actuarial Consultant

£50,000 - £60,000 + bonus, pension and wider benefits package

UK Wide - Hybrid-working, typically 2-3 days a week in the office.

An Actuarial Consultant is required for a market-leading consultancy. We are ideally looking for a candidate with significant DB Pensions experience to join this consultancy as an Actuarial Consultant.

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Supporting the lead actuary
  • Co-advising with the trustees' investment consultants on de-risking exercises, such as buy-ins and buy-outs, and helping to set de-risking investment triggers
  • Counselling trustees on all facets of liability management exercises started by a scheme sponsor
  • Supporting the lead actuary; preparing and reviewing advice on actuarial factors, such as transfer value bases

Experience needed:

  • Experience working in an Actuarial Pensions based role
  • Knowledge of DB Pension Schemes
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
