I am working with a growing personal lines firm who are seeking an Actuarial manager to join the team. The main focus would be managing the production of actuarial deliverable's into the company's Solvency 2 processes and collaborate with other functions i.e Risk/Finance.This role would require one day per week in the London office (with flexibility)Responsibilities:
  • Calculating the best estimate of liabilities, the risk margin, the underwriting risk SCR (Pillar I)
  • Assist with the ORSA process and the capital assessment, the stress testing and the assessment of the standard formula (Pillar II)
  • Maintain the company’s governance framework, including result review, process or policy documentation
  • Transform the team operating model, by improving process efficiency and enhancing automation
Requirements:
  • Ideally qualified actuary
  • Experience with Solvency 2 and ORSA process
  • Background within non life insurance, preferably personal lines/P&C
