Sonic Summary

Oliver James is seeking an experienced programmer to join a major reinsurer's modelling team on a day rate contract.
Candidates must be UK tax residents and based in the UK, with an ASAP start date and an initial contract duration of 3 months.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, preferably as a qualified or experienced GI or Life Actuary.
Strong R skills are essential, with the ability to build R packages, and experience in cashflow modelling and IFRS17 is desirable.

Oliver James is working with a major reinsurer who requires an experienced programmer to join their modelling team.

This is a day rate contract, you must be a UK tax resident and based in the UK to apply.

Start: ASAP, October

Duration: 3 month initial contract

Rate: Dependent on experience

Location: Home working contract

Requirements:

- Qualified or experienced GI or Life Actuaries - 5 years+ industry experience

- Strong R skills - ideally you will be able to build R packages. Similar languages (python) will be considered

- Experience in cashflow modelling, IFRS17 is desirable.
