Arthur is supporting a fast-growing Lloyd's Syndicate. You’ll take ownership of maintaining and evolving the internal capital model, playing a crucial role in meeting regulatory and business needs. You can manage a small team and will support strategic decisions within the function. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence key business outcomes, shape processes, and develop solutions.   • Maintain and update the internal capital model to meet regulatory requirements and support business decisions.
  • Lead model calibration efforts and develop process improvements for greater efficiency in model inputs, outputs, and reporting.
  • Adapt the model to reflect the business’s evolving risk profile, including making code changes and testing enhancements.
  • Provide strategic insights on capital requirements, reinsurance purchases, and investment decisions.
  • Ensure all regulatory submissions are met and maintain detailed documentation for Lloyd’s and internal stakeholders.
  • Build relationships across teams to foster knowledge sharing and support the validation process.
If you are a nearly or newly qualified actuary with strong capital modelling experience, have knowledge of Lloyd’s and Solvency II requirements and the ability to translate complex models into actionable insights for senior management; please reach out - Igloo experience preferred but not essential.
