SteppingStones are currently partnering with an international reinsurance firm in the Cayman Islands who are looking for a Corporate Development, Senior Actuary to join their team! Working alongside a dynamic team, you'll support the corporate development deal team in its efforts to underwrite new reinsurance and M&A opportunities.

As a Senior Actuary, you’ll need:

    • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field.
    • FSA designation or career ASA candidate preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience in insurance, with proven expertise in pricing, financial reporting, or liability management.
    • Experience building actuarial models in AXIS and utilizing other tools to improve processes and solve complex problems.
    • Strong technical skills with a sharp attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and external partners.
