We are seeking a General Insurance Actuarial Consultant to join a small team. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a wide variety of actuarial assignments within the general insurance market, working with a diverse client base, including Personal Lines insurers, Specialist insurers, and Lloyd's and London Market insurers. This role also includes but not limited to:

  • Be involved in client relationships from day one, contributing to the growth of the business through project work.
  • Support the Head of London Markets or Head of Personal Lines in managing and delivering projects.
  • Exposure to a full range of actuarial techniques, including pricing, reserving, capital modelling, and risk management.
  • Directly engage with clients on technical and actuarial matters to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Lead the development of calculations, reports, presentations, coding, model development, and dashboards.
  • Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to software development, research, and intellectual property initiatives.
  • Support senior team members in marketing, client development, and proposal preparation.
  • Participate in team learning activities and knowledge sharing.
