Oliver James are pleased to be working with an innovative and long-standing pensions consultancy seeking an aspiring Scheme Actuary to join them in a lead support role. This role is fully home-based with the option to head into a local office as and when desired

As trusted scheme actuaries to over 200 pension schemes, you will assist Scheme Actuaries in the provision of advice to a portfolio of pension scheme clients. Your main focus will be to provide and present actuarial advice to trustees of DB pension schemes, participate in the development of actuarial policy in relation to occupational pension scheme valuations, financial reporting and pensions legislative developments.

Role requirements:

  • Qualified Actuary
  • Scheme Actuary certificate desirable but not compulsory or a desire to obtain
  • Experience of advising the trustees of UK DB pension schemes
