Are you a partqualified or qualified life actuary with knowledge or experience of the UK Protection market, looking for your next career opportunity within a major global reinsurer?

This is an exciting chance to join a leading protection pricing team where you will:
- provide support to the heads of the department, acting as technical expert across pricing and biometrics
- check and peer review the work of more junior colleagues, acting as mentor and role model.
- support improvements to pricing tools and processes
- keep abreast of the ever-changing landscape of new technology, embracing and adopting this within working practices
- play a key role in supporting the development and review of the protection basis and assumptions
- provide technical input into the development of new protection propositions where required.
What will I need?
To be successful in the role, you will:
- possess well-honed communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
- have the ability to nurture the careers of members of a team
- have good knowledge of protection pricing processes, including experience analysis assumptions setting and modelling methodology
- reinsurance pricing experience is preferable.
