We have partnered with a highly profitable and growth centric syndicate to find them a Pricing Actuary focusing on both Reinsurance and direct business. This is great opportunity to help the Chief Actuary and Head of pricing expand the offering to a high calibre group of Underwriters through case pricing, building rating tools and portfolio steering. The role is broad but includes:

  • Creating the best pricing models technology has to offer with the support of some super star actuaries.
  • Collaborating with the broader business, working closely with underwriters, senior management, finance, claims, business planning and reserving functions.
  • Huge input into risk selection and market navigation.
  • Providing case pricing support across various classes of business and building strong relationships with underwriting teams.
  • Peer-reviewing work for juniors and contributing to business transformation projects.
  • Staying updated on industry best practices, new initiatives, and regulatory changes.

The ideal candidate will have strong actuarial pricing experience, as well as good exam progression and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Full UK working rights
  • GI Actuarial Pricing experience
