Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with an International Membership Organisation to recruit an Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join a dynamic and prestigious global organisation.

As an Administrator, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support to the Divisions Department. Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will help coordinate important meetings, events, and communications within a leading membership organisation.

Organisation: International Membership Organisation

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2 days in the office/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to various committees, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating meetings, conference calls, and small events, both online and in-person.
  • Manage data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records in the organisation's database.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of session materials and speaker processing for the Annual Conference.
  • Provide technical support for online meetings and events, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Assist with proofreading newsletters and conference programmes.

Person Specifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role within an office environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, minute-taking, and working with senior professionals is advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and advanced knowledge of MS Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with Zoom and database management is desirable.
  • Behavioural Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, self-motivation, and a professional demeanour. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
  • Special Circumstances: Willingness to occasionally work outside normal office hours to support events and the ability to travel internationally to events.
