Administrator – Temp 6 months - £13.85 per hour – London/HybridOne of the UKs largest charities is seeking an experienced Administrator to support their Business Services team at their London headquarters close to Liverpool Street.This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 6-month period and will pay £13.85 per hour. The role will be hybrid working 1-2 days in the office. Working hours 35 hours, Monday to Friday.This Administrator will be responsible for providing and an efficient operation of the service function, its projects and services by providing administrative, personal and financial support across the organisation. Duties include:
  • To manage the input of accurate data into the database with strong attention to detail to ensure information is both correct and updated regularly
  • To ensure that all travel and accommodation is booked in line with the travel policy
  • To support with monthly and quarterly directorate compliance activities, ensuring that all activities are completed within strict deadlines and reporting is accurate.
  • Prepare invoices on behalf of colleagues in an efficient and timely manner
  • To carry out accurate administration of internal and external events and projects, dealing with competing and last-minute demands whilst ensuring that all tasks are completed within timescales and to deadlines.
  • To provide a professional first point of contact for telephone, email and face to face enquiries, answering and filtering enquiries
  • To carry out administrative tasks, including creating power point presentations, formatting reports, record keeping, and handling correspondence
  • Servicing meetings for departments as required.
The ideal Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Previous experience of working in a similar administration role.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of using Windows-based software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
