Cabinet Support Officer

Location: West London Pay: £21.99 per hour Reference: 200410 Type: Full-time, Temporary

Role Purpose: We are seeking a Cabinet Support Officer to provide essential policy and administrative support to 2 to 3 Cabinet Members. This role involves working as part of a wider team to support the Cabinet and the Administration collectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing policy and administrative support to Cabinet Members.

  • Supporting the delivery of portfolio briefs and priorities.

  • Ensuring Cabinet Members' meetings run smoothly with all necessary arrangements in place, including venue security, attendee confirmation, agenda planning, distribution of papers, minute taking, and action logging.

  • Collaborating with local businesses, the voluntary sector, and partners to achieve our ambitions.

Requirements:

  • Availability for 3-4 days in the office with occasional evening meetings.

  • Excellent minute-taking and written skills.

  • Experience in political or community settings is advantageous.
