Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Cabinet Support Officer for a Local Authority Client based in West London.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and policy support to Cabinet Members, ensuring they can effectively deliver their priorities and drive positive outcomes for the borough.

About the role:You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Provide flexible administrative and policy support to Cabinet Members and the wider Administration to deliver Council priorities.
  • Manage inboxes, diaries, and meetings for Cabinet Members, ensuring their time is used effectively.
  • Organise and attend key meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place, including minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing materials and reports to support decision-making.

About you:The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience providing high-level administrative support, including diary and inbox management for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing casework and handling enquiries efficiently.
  • Experience organising meetings and events, including minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Experience working for a local authority.

What's on offer:Salary: £21+ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 12 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
