If so, Signature Recruitment is thrilled to offer a full-time role for a Higher Education EA at a prestigious London university. This is a temporary position with an immediate start for six-weeks with the possibility to extent. It is offered with a flexible hybrid working structure, generally three days a week on campus but on occasion you may be working across other sites.
In this role as a Higher Education EA, you will provide professional administrative support to the Head of Department and to the Head of School including their executive teams. You will act as the main point of contact for any enquiries, coordinating inboxes and working with complex diary management. You will also be able to produce well written minutes.
Higher Education EA Key Responsibilities:
- Managing complex diary arrangements and inbox support for the senior leadership team. To include drafting correspondence and responding to enquiries, coordinating travel arrangements and schedules
- Acting as a primary point of contact for the department, maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Providing secretarial services for faculty and department committees
- Overseeing event arrangements when necessary - including organising venues, catering, invitations, and instructions for attendance
- Undertaking project management support to the senior team, producing reports, presentations, and data sets
- Facilitating administrative processes - assisting with HR, finance and other business operations as required
Higher Education EA Key Skills:
- Experience in a similar role, providing exceptional administrative assistance to a senior executive and / or team within a Higher Education setting is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills and a personable and professional approach to all stakeholders
- Highly organised with good time management and attention to detail
- Proficient in IT Skills and with experience using People XD and Unit4
