Company Secretary – Investment Trusts

Our client is a prominent player in corporate governance and compliance solutions, partnering with companies across various sectors to provide comprehensive governance and company secretarial services. With continued growth and an expanding client base, they are now seeking a skilled Manager to lead in delivering high-quality governance support, particularly for their investment trust clients.

Key Duties

  • Manage client relationships, providing expert guidance on governance, compliance and regulatory matters
  • Handle all aspects of governance support, including board and shareholder meetings, regulatory filings and compliance with industry standards
  • Contribute to business development and strengthen client engagement by staying abreast of best practices in the industry
  • Support team growth by mentoring and developing junior staff members
  • Coordinate special projects, including corporate actions, capital raises and mergers or acquisitions

Key Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and company secretarial practices, ideally within investment trusts or listed companies
  • Proven experience in a professional services or governance advisory environment
  • CGI/ICSA qualification preferred, with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards
  • Strong communication and client management abilities, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering an environment of growth and excellence

Hybrid Working Arrangement

This role offers hybrid working, with three days per week in the office to encourage collaboration and team cohesion.
