Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet programme, budget, and quality standards. You will uphold the company's high standards of work and manage client expectations to maintain a professional and positive reputation. The workload primarily includes main plant replacement projects such as chillers and boilers, Cat A fit-outs, and BMS works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take over projects from the estimating team through a detailed handover process.
- Review project scope and contribute to presentation materials when necessary.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of packages in line with company policies.
- Submit technical documentation for all equipment and packages.
- Develop and issue pre-construction programmes.
- Oversee project delivery from inception to practical completion.
- Maintain quality control and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Handle procurement and oversee commissioning and project handovers.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical installation projects.
- HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Experience managing major projects valued at 5m and above is advantageous.
- Proven track record of successful project management in similar roles.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial accountability.
- Demonstrated career stability and longevity in previous roles.
