We are seeking a Programme Support Administrator to join our team at the national library based in St Pancras. This role is ideal for someone who excels in providing high-level administrative support and has a proactive approach to managing complex tasks and pressures.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-level administrative support including minute taking and diary management.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and orally with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Utilise a high level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including Project, Visio, Word, and Excel, to manage and organise administrative tasks.
  • Act on initiative and manage own time effectively, switching between competing tasks and demands.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of colleagues across the Library and with external stakeholders.
  • Employ a positive approach to solving complex problems within the programme environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in the delivery of high-level administrative support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including Project, Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • A proactive attitude, capable of acting on initiative and managing own time.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Positive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of working within a complex project and/or programme environment.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of Project and Programme management methodology.
