Reed Secure are working with Police Forces, who are looking to recruit Project Support Officer.

  • Hybrid - 3 days in the office / Locations: Kilburn, Holborn, Kennington (need to have capacity to cover all locations)
  • Full time temporary position for 6 months period with a possible extension.
  • Day rate: £362.96 umbrella or £282.48 PAYE
  • Proposed start date aims as soon as CTC vetting is granted - approximately 6 months

Job details:

Working closely with the Business Change & Comms Lead and wider MBS SLT, this role will;

Support and create plans for communication and engagement, assist with drafting of communication products by working closely across the programme and other key stakeholders to ensure they prepare people appropriately for the change.

Support the Development of training plans via TNA and take part in training approaches that will support mitigating the impacts of change placed upon a number of different user groups who will range from professionals within HR/Finance/Commercial to Frontline Police Officers.

Experience of building and analysing change impact assessments in a complex operational landscape, producing both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Support the business change lead to Identify and build relationships across MPS to create channels that enable feedback to flow in and out of MBS to ensure there is understanding of business appetite/priorities/adoption etc.

Work closely with other Business Change Analysts across MBS and MPS Programmes to align change activity, share best practice and to ensure the delivery is a co-ordinated approach to communications and engagement to minimise impact on impacted users

Reporting and Insight - produce timely and accurate dashboards and highlight reports ensuring the wider change lead is aware of any significant impacts this may have on wider implementation.

Planning – track progress against project milestones and the impact changes to milestones have on the Change POAP, Critical Milestone log, Plan-on-A-Page (PoAP), and Change Control.

RAID Management - maintenance of project level Risks/Assumptions/Issues and Dependencies log.

Benefits Management - tracking and reporting against relevant project and programme benefits.

Information Management – working with PMO to support being custodian of all programme artefacts including central repository/filing of key project documentation, ensuring wider change is shared/ communicated.

Skills and Qualifications: You will be expected to evidence the following:

  • Excellent competency in Ms Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Ms Project)
  • Experience in project planning, risk management and change control
  • Some experience of delivering change management activities in a consulting or project environment

POLICE VETTING REQUIREMENTSAll security clearances require you to provide evidence of your UK footprint where you have been physically present in the UK.The requirement for clearance is to have been present in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.Failure to meet the residency requirements will result in your security clearance application being rejected.Also, checks will be made against:• Departmental or company records (personnel files, staff reports, sick leave reports and security records)• UK criminal records covering both spent and unspent criminal records.• Your credit and financial history with a credit reference agency• Security Services records
