Project Support Officer

Southwark

£18 per hour(umbrella)

Full Time Contract (2 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Project Support Officer in Southwark. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • To collate and maintain live attendance data from Southwark schools and ensure that this information is available to managers so that appropriate interventions can be planned if the pupil is persistently or severely absent
  • To track children who have been issued with a penalty notice from school and provide managers with a weekly report
  • To monitor data on children who have been permanently excluded from school
  • To prepare written monitoring and evaluation reports to be presented to senior managers across Children's Services

The candidate:

  • Experience of working within a local authority - preferably in an education setting
  • Experience of tracking cohorts of people (preferably young people) in terms of attendance, outcomes, activity or similar
  • Advanced IT skills (Core Microsoft products) as well as creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards
