Join our team at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) as a Regional Coordinator for London. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while making a real impact in the professional community
Overall purpose of this role of Regional Co-ordinator
To support the regional team in delivering the ICAEW's strategy to members locally and regionally via events and activities
Regional Co-ordinator Responsibilities include:
- To provide administrative support with the organisation of events and activities including attending and supporting events on the day (virtual and physical).
- To coordinate and provide administrative support, as required, to local member boards which will include liaising with volunteers, diary management, sending out reports/documents in a timely manner and taking meeting action points.
- To ensure events information is accurately and timely recorded on ICAEW's systems. This will involve liaising with stakeholders to get the appropriate information.
- To coordinate team activities including meetings and diary management.
- To support the team with financial administration, including invoicing and raising purchase orders.
- To act as a contact point to promote local and regional activities via various communication channels.
- To ensure that timely and accurate reporting and management information is submitted as appropriate.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
Regional Co-ordinator Candidate Profile
- Experience in planning and coordinating events, meetings, and conferences is essential.
- Able to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements is essential.
- Excellent administrative skills - particularly identifying actions from verbal discussions and ensuring the appropriate member of staff completes the actions.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident, positive, can-do attitude - this is a member facing role that needs a professional, enthusiastic, positive person capable of communicating at all levels and representing ICAEW effectively.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours.
- Strong IT skills including D365, Microsoft Office including Excel & PowerPoint.
