  • Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
  • Location: Newham
  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term time only plus 3 weeks)
  • Start Date: 16th December 2024 ongoing 

We are seeking a versatile School Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, efficient, and capable of working to tight deadlines. The position involves a variety of responsibilities including front-of-house reception, attendance monitoring, administrative support, and more.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage front-of-house reception duties, providing a welcoming environment.
  • Handle attendance records and related administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the School Business Manager (SBM).
  • Assist in raising Purchase Order (PO) numbers and other financial documentation.
  • Support the overall school office and the Head Teacher with various duties including preparation for meetings, creating meeting packs, and preparing for Governor’s meetings.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within set deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office management software and tools.
