Your new role:

Remedy Education are looking for an individual with a strong administrative background to work as an SEN admin in a large SEN school in Southwark, London. Ideally the SEN Admin would have held a similar post in a school before, or has some experience of working with pupils who have special educational needs and is looking to support the paperwork side of pupils provisions.

We're looking for a candidate who has some of the following skills:

Managing Information:

Reporting to the Headteacher's P.A. including supporting with:

Providing cover on reception, as required

Administration of Admissions processes & Open Events

Administration of the school annual calendar of events

Maintaining SIMS data and producing management reports

Health & Safety records, including administration of the School's Business Management system 'EVERY'

Administration of the school's online training platforms, induction materials and document management systems

Governing Body administration and policy schedule

Updating the School's website

Supporting with the administration of the School's assessment database (Onwards & Upwards)

Supporting with the production of high quality printed material e.g information booklets, school website and displays

Customer Service

  • Builds listening and responsive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Summarises complicated issues in accessible ways.
  • Communicates well in writing and in person.

Technical Competence

  • Understanding of IT systems, such as SIMS
