An excellent opportunity to work closely alongside the director in a professional and established financial planning and wealth management firm. You will gain exposure and experience in all areas of financial planning including: Pensions, Investments, Mortgages, Life and Health Insurance, Cashflow Planning, Estate Planning, Tax and Trusts.

The Role

The role will evolve dependant on the successful candidate's base knowledge and experience. You will be a trainee paraplanner or financial services administrator and have some experience in writing suitability reports.

Your profile:

You have an exceptional eye for detail and work using your own initiative.

You are friendly and helpful, with strong communications skills via all mediums (face to face, telephone and written).

You have strong IT skills and ideally will have experience using the Microsoft Office package.

You are keen to learn, can work well as part of a team and can adapt to several different ways of working.

You have excellent time management skills in order to prioritise and complete multiple ongoing, demanding tasks to deadlines.

Main duties:

  • Helping update/complete client fact finds
  • Preparing client portfolio reports
  • Providing a friendly and professional point of contact for clients and product providers via email and on the telephone
  • Obtaining and maintaining client information to support the advice process
  • Helping maintain accurate and compliant client files
  • Formatting and sending letters
  • Learning to use multiple financial software packages

The firm are well set up for you to succeed, and as such will provide you with full and comprehensive training on all aspects of the job, as well help with your professional qualifications. Bonuses will be awarded for the successful completion of each Dip PFS module.
