We are seeking a University Access Officer to join a boys’ secondary school in Central London. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong background in higher education and education administration. The University Access Officer will play a crucial role in guiding students on their journey to university by providing one-to-one support and matching them with tutors to enhance their academic performance.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct one-to-one sessions with students to discuss and plan their university applications and future educational paths.
- Administer and coordinate the matching of learners with suitable tutors to help improve their grades for university qualification.
- Maintain and manage relationships with the project’s sponsor company, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Handle administrative duties related to the university access program, ensuring all student records and program details are up-to-date.
- Work closely with educational staff and external partners to facilitate a supportive environment for students’ academic and personal growth.
- Knowledge of higher education and experience in educational administration.
- Strong administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent relationship management skills with experience in liaising with external partners or sponsors.
- Ability to provide guidance and support to students in a one-to-one setting.
- Proactive, organised, and dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals.
