Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in higher education administration? Do you excel at delivering excellent customer service? If so, Signature Recruitment is delighted to offer a University Administrator role at a prominent London university. This full-time, temporary role starts immediately for three months. It is a fully campus-based role.

As a University Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of key administrative and secretarial duties. You will offer exceptional support across the office to academic and professional staff as well as helping students. You will be personable and proactive working effectively and efficiently as part of a small friendly team.

University Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first point of contact for staff, students and other internal and external visitors and callers to the Undergraduate Office with exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate and assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Undergraduate Office. Including general and event administration, purchasing of office sundries and other items
  • Manage the 'Casual & Temporary Worker’ process, liaising with relevant College teams
  • Organise and if required attend meetings, acting as Secretary to committees and working groups as requested
  • Record and maintain accurate records on student files, activities and course information, ensuring the effective administration of all aspects of coursework submission
  • Any other ad hoc administrative duties in order to assist the team and wider university including maintaining student notice boards and displays

University Administrator Key Skills:

  • Higher Education experience with an understanding of the student lifecycle and student support
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with staff and students at all levels
  • Effective time management skills, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
  • Highly proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office 365 applications and student databases
